Edzimkulu is a Canadian charity, established in 2003 to provide support to children affected by HIV/AIDS in the Underberg region of the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. Our work has expanded from its original concentration in the village of Ndawana (population 4,000), about 45 km. from the small town of Underberg, to a much larger area. While our clinic in Ndawana remains the focal point for our healthcare efforts, we now work with the people of a sub-district of some 140,000 people in a number of capacities.
